Welcome to Wine & Dine Episode 1, a follow along cooking show featuring a food recipe and wine pairing! Today we will be making the BEST meatloaf I’ve ever tried (seriously!), with a side of carrots and mashed potatoes! HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!!!

GROCERY LIST
APPETIZER: Grab a Box of Chocolate (Happy Valentine’s Day!!!!!)

MAIN COURSE:
Meatloaf:
– 2 lbs/1 kg Medium Lean Ground Beef
– Stovetop Stuffing Mix (I use Low Sodium Chicken Mix)
– 1/4 Cup Milk
– 1 Egg
– Minced Garlic
– 3/4 Cup Ketchup (includes amount used for making sauce)
– 4 Tbsp Brown Sugar (for sauce)
– Fresh Parsley
– 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
– Salt/Pepper

Balsamic Glazed Carrots:
– Bunch of Rainbow Carrots
– Balsamic Vinegar
– Olive Oil
– Garlic
– Parsley
– Salt/Pepper

Creamy Chive Mashed Potatoes:
– Potatoes (I used a mix of Yukon Gold/Red Potatoes)
– Salt/Pepper
– Whipped Chive Philadelphia Spread (or cream cheese of choice)
– Butter or Margarine
– 1/4 Cup Milk

WINE PAIRING:
Lindeman’s Bin 40 Merlot
Tasting Notes:
A soft and elegant, approachable medium-bodied Merlot with delicious red berry aromas, dark red berry fruit, textural oak and silky tannins.
