Ingredients
Red Grapes -3kg
Sugar -11/2 kg
Cinnamon – 3 sticks
Cloves -12
Yeast -11/2 tsp
Water -3 cup (750 ml)
Whole wheat -handful
Method
Soak the grapes in turmeric and salt for one hour. Then wash it for several times. then dry the grapes individually with tissues. The grapes should be sur and sweet grapes. The quantity of sugar should be half of grapes. We need boiled water and it should be brought to room temperature. Take a big clay pot / glass pot and put the crushed grapes. The clay pot should be dry. Then add one layer of sugar. Repeat the crushed grapes and sugar layer.then add yeast,cinnamon , cloves, broken wheat and finally add the water. Since we have crushed the grapes we need less water. The water level should be at par with the grapes.Take a good cloth and cover the top.then cover it with the lid. We need to keep it for 21 days. We need to stir this daily and cover it tightly. After 21 days we need to sieve it. Keep it aside for 1 day after squeezing out the juice from the sieve. Now pour it to the glass jar/ bottle. Serve and Enjoy!!!
